Philippines Armed Forces Chief Visits Brunei to Discuss Defense Cooperation

Bandar seri begawan: The importance of strengthening cooperation through joint training, expertise sharing, and mutual exchanges between the two Armed Forces were among the topics discussed during the courtesy call by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines to the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence. Both sides reaffirmed the strong and enduring defense relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of the Philippines and exchanged views on regional and geopolitical developments of mutual interest. Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, received a courtesy call from His Excellency General Romeo Saturnino Brawner Junior, at Bolkiah Garrison, 15th October morning.

According to Radio Television Brunei, upon arrival, His Excellency was welcomed by Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF. His Excellency also called on the Commander of the RBAF.
