MANILA: Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte offered guidance to a teacher featured in a controversial video, suggesting a pause in moments of anger instead of immediate action.

According to Philippines News Agency, During her visit to Cambodia for the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) meeting, Duterte addressed the incident, emphasizing understanding and the provision of psychosocial support for educators.

She noted the challenges teachers face, including handling large class sizes, and expressed interest in adopting Cambodian strategies for teacher training to enhance the quality of education in the Philippines.
