Youth Al-Qur’an Reading Scheme Students Celebrated at Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei – A special Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony was held to honor 86 Year Two students of the Youth Al-Qur’an Reading Scheme. The event, organized by the Islamic Studies Department, took place at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Masna Religious School in Mentiri.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Md Salleh, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religion at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, was present. The ceremony aimed not only to recognize the students’ achievements in Al-Quran reading but also to contribute to Brunei Darussalam’s vision of becoming a Negara Zikir or Zikir Nation, fostering a generation literate in Al-Quran.
