PERTIWI Association Hosts Traditional Charity Sale in Belait District

Belait: As part of preparations for the upcoming Syawal, the PERTIWI Association in Belait District is organizing its annual Traditional Charity Sale Project. This event features a variety of Hari Raya cakes and delicacies available for purchase at the District Office Hall in Seria.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the charity sale was inaugurated by Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, the Acting Belait District Officer. Notably, 10 percent of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Orphans Fund and the Belait District Charity Fund. The initiative, themed ‘Shop and Donate’, is open to the public until the end of Ramadhan, operating daily from 10 in the morning until 10 at night.
