Donation Presentation Ceremony for Orphans Held at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Takmir Committee organised a Donation Presentation Ceremony for Orphans at the mosque on the morning of March 16th. The event aimed to support orphans in the community by providing financial assistance during the month of Ramadhan and in preparation for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the donations were presented by Awang Haji Shamsol bin Haji Omar, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religion at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. A total of 15 orphans from Kampung Kiulap, Kampung Kiarong, and Kampung Menglait received the donations, which are intended to ease their financial burdens during this festive period.

The ceremony underscores the importance of community support and solidarity, particularly during significant religious occasions. By reaching out to these orphans, the Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Takmir Committee continues to foster a sense of community care and responsibility.
