Bandar seri begawan: Over 100 individuals participated in the 1.3-kilometre parade during the Festival Inclusive: Persons with Disabilities (PWD), held in conjunction with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPWD) 2025. The event took place at the Royal Wharf Energy Hub on the morning of 14th December.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was officiated by Dayang Hajah Nor Ashikin Binti Johari, the Permanent Secretary for Community at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The parade aimed to enhance awareness, understanding, acceptance, and appreciation of the abilities and contributions of persons with disabilities. It also advocated for inclusive opportunities and social inclusion.
The event also included a prize presentation for the three most creative teams and the launch of the Art for All Exhibition, themed ‘Pulse of Bruneian Heritage’. His Excellency Doctor Tamer Mansy, High Commissioner of Canada to Brunei Darussalam, was also in attendance.
