Pasar Kitani Hosts Local Fruits Festival in Rimba

RIMBA — The Pasar Kitani Agribusiness Centre is currently hosting the Local Fruits Festival, featuring over 60 local entrepreneurs and a variety of products from fresh fruits to vegetables and local snacks. The festival, running until August 11, encourages the community to support local growers and producers.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the theme of the festival, ‘Lakastah Membeli Buah-Buahan Kitani’ or ‘Let’s Buy Our Local Fruits,’ aims to spotlight the diversity and quality of local agricultural products. In addition to shopping, attendees can participate in activities such as quizzes, coloring events, and clinics on plant and fruit care, enhancing both educational and recreational aspects of the event.

Entrepreneurs at the festival expressed their appreciation for the platform to expand their businesses and increase income, highlighting the importance of such events in fostering local economic growth and community involvement.
