National Hackathon Launched to Boost Local Entrepreneurship in Brunei

BERAKAS – The First Startup673 National Hackathon was launched on the morning of 18th May at the International Convention Centre in Berakas, aiming to foster innovation and support the growth of potential local businesses through technology. The event, themed ’14 Days of Trying,’ invites the public to explore opportunities for local entrepreneurs, offering participants a platform to develop creative solutions and receive expert guidance.

According to Radio Television Brunei, which include Shell LiveWIRE Brunei, Darussalam Enterprise, Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry, and ‘Brunei Innovation Lab’, the hackathon is designed to cultivate innovation pioneers by encouraging collaboration and mentorship.
