Brunei Teams Depart for APICTA 2023 in Hong Kong

Bandar Seri Begawan – Representing Brunei Darussalam, nine teams, including winners and first merit recipients of the Brunei ICT Awards (BICTA) 2023, departed on December 3rd afternoon to participate in the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards in Hong Kong. The prestigious ICT competition is scheduled from December 4th to 8th, 2023.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the delegation, led by Siti Zaraura Binti Haji Mohammad, Acting Assistant Chief Executive of the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI), was seen off at the Brunei International Airport by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. According to AITI, in addition to competing, the APICTA participants will engage in student and business networking sessions coordinated by the host economy. These sessions are designed to foster collaboration and networking opportunities among participants from various countries.
