‘Operasi Sakat’ Leads to Arrests for Immigration Offences in Kuala Belait

Kuala Belait – During ‘Operasi Sakat’, conducted by the Law Enforcement Division of the Department of Immigration and National Registration, Kuala Belait branch, three foreigners were arrested for various offences under the Immigration Act, Chapter 17. The operation took place in STKRJ Mumong, resulting in the apprehension of these individuals.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the detainees were suspected of overstaying after their immigration passes expired and working with different employers. Additionally, another foreigner was required to assist in the investigation for employing an immigration offender, highlighting the department’s ongoing efforts to enforce immigration laws and regulations.
