Nuzul Al-Qur’an Celebration Highlights Importance of Self-Education in Islam

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Department of Councils of State emphasized the significance of self-education in becoming a good ummah during the Nuzul Al-Qur’an Celebration. The event highlighted the importance of observing prayers, improving daily practices, and imitating the morals taught by Prophet Muhammad SAW based on the teachings of the Al-Qur’an.

According to Radio Television Brunei, a special talk was held in conjunction with the celebration, underscoring the values of Islamic teachings. The event saw the presence of Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib, Speaker of the Legislative Council. The celebration took place at the Dewan Majlis Building, bringing together attendees to reflect on the principles of self-improvement and moral guidance as outlined in the Al-Qur’an.
