Rimba Secondary School Students and Teacher to Join ASEAN Youth Camp in Thailand

Pathum Thani: Four students and one teacher from Rimba Secondary School have been selected to participate in the ASEAN Youth Camp (AYC) 2025. The camp is scheduled to take place from June 17 to June 20, 2025, in Pathum Thani, Thailand. The participants departed from their home country on the morning of June 16, with the program being coordinated by the Ministry of Education through the Science, Technology, and Environment Partnership Centre (STEP Centre).

According to Radio Television Brunei, Dayang Hajah Marina Chek binti Bujang, Director of Schools, was present at Brunei International Airport to bid the group farewell. The ASEAN Youth Camp is organized by the SEAMEO Regional Centre for STEM Education (SEAMEO STEM-ED), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education Thailand and the National Science Museum of Thailand. This event aims to provide a platform for young participants to delve into the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in various sectors.
