Second Haj Flight Departs from Brunei with 252 Pilgrims


Brunei: The second haj flight carrying Brunei Darussalam’s intending pilgrims departed from the country on the morning of May 16. The Royal Brunei flight, RB BI4203, transported 252 pilgrims who are embarking on their spiritual journey.



According to Radio Television Brunei, the departure was marked by the presence of notable figures at the Brunei International Airport. Among those present to bid farewell were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development acting in the capacity of Minister of Health. The event was further graced by the attendance of Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Al Buraithin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Brunei Darussalam.
