Nearly PHP1 Million in Illegal Drugs Seized in Davao Region Operations

DAVAO CITY — Police operations in the Davao Region have successfully seized nearly PHP1 million worth of illegal drugs, according to a recent report by the Police Regional Office (PRO-11). The operations, conducted over a 24-hour period, resulted in the arrest of 11 individuals linked to the drug trade.

According to Philippines News Agency, the operations spanned from 5 a.m. on July 30 to 5 a.m. on July 31, targeting multiple locations across the region. These efforts led to the confiscation of PHP926,548 worth of narcotics. Additionally, earlier operations within the same timeframe resulted in the seizure of PHP330,370 worth of drugs and the arrest of 10 more suspects. PRO-11 director, Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III, highlighted the dedication of the teams involved, praising their commitment to enforcing law and order and ensuring public safety in the region.
