Nationwide Religious Ceremonies Mark Sultan of Brunei’s 78th Birthday

BRUNEI DARUSSALAM – Religious ceremonies were held across Brunei in honor of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah’s 78th birthday. The events included Mass Fardu Maghrib and Sunat Hajat prayers, as well as the Reading of Doa Kesyukuran, observed at all mosques, surau, and religious halls throughout the nation.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town served as the main venue for these celebrations within the Tutong District, attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. Similar events took place in the Belait and Temburong Districts, highlighting the nationwide participation in the royal birthday observances.
