According to Radio Television Brunei, Speaking at the 'Memaknai Keberajaan' ceremony on the morning of July 17th, in honor of His Majesty's 78th birthday, the Minister elucidated the concept of kingdom as integral to national identity and cultural heritage, rooted in the teachings of Ahli Sunah Wal Jamaah. According to the Minister, the adherence to the monarch, as Ulul Amri, is a tradition upheld from time immemorial, cemented by the Declaration of Independence decreed by His Majesty.
The ceremony highlighted the people's devotion and patriotic fervor, serving as a platform to bolster understanding and commitment towards monarchal leadership and its preservation.
