Post: Ministry of Religious Affairs Focuses on Zakat Distribution Challenges

Tutong: Investigations to identify applicants for zakat distribution who are truly poor and destitute and eligible to receive zakat distribution are very time-consuming. However, the task and results of the report cannot meet the expected Client’s Charter timeframe. The matter was among those touched upon by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs at the Dialogue Session with Grassroots Leaders and Stakeholders for Tutong District on 16th July morning. The Dialogue Session was held at Dewan Utama, Tutong District Civic Hall Complex.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Dialogue Session reflects the commitment of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in supporting the national development agenda through sharing views between the government and the community in the country. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council.
