Local Man Honored at Asian Cybersecurity Resilience Awards

Tokyo: A local man received the Asian Cybersecurity Resilience Awards 2025, during the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Community Alliance Annual General Meeting in Tokyo, Japan, recently. The award was in recognition of leadership, integrity, and collaboration in the development of cyber resilience.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Muhammad Azizul Amir bin Pehin Orang Kaya Pendikar Alam Dato Paduka Seri Haji Hasrin, Acting IT Manager and Cyber Security lead at Brunei Gas Carriers Sdn Bhd, stated that the award was a recognition of Brunei Darussalam’s collective efforts in advancing cybersecurity. The ceremony also saw the attendance of Awang Shamsul Bahri bin Haji Kamis, Interim Commissioner of Cyber Security Brunei.
