In Brunei Darussalam, the Monarchy Institution remains a central pillar of national identity, guided by the Malay Islamic Monarchy philosophy. These insights were shared during the ‘Bicara Sejarah’ Programme, held in conjunction with the 79th Royal Birthday Celebration at the Brunei History Centre.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, the Acting Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, was present at the event. Themed ‘Cerminan Dinamika Sejarah Melalui Pengkajian Linguistik Melayu’, the programme focused on a collection of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s Titah from 1984 to 2025. It was organized by the Brunei History Centre through the Borneo Research Centre Division (penBORNEO).
