Post: Khayrat Azhari Programme Supports 30 Underprivileged Families Across Four Districts

Bandar Seri Begawan: 30 underprivileged families, including new converts and those identified as poor and destitute, received donations through the Khayrat Azhari Programme. This initiative is part of the annual Rabitah International activity organized by Al-Azhar Brunei Darussalam Alumni during the month of Ramadhan. The donation handover took place simultaneously across all four districts on the morning of March 23rd, with the Rabitah Executive Committee and Rabitah members in attendance.

According to Radio Television Brunei, in the Tutong District, donations were presented to five recipients by Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, who serves as the Ra'es of Rabitah. In Brunei Muara District, 15 families benefitted from the donations, which are intended to help alleviate their financial burdens.

In the Belait District, five selected families received donations, which are hoped to assist with expenses leading up to Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Similarly, in the Temburong District, donations were distributed to five families, continuing the programme's aim to provide support to less fortunate communities.
