Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony Held in Jerudong

Jerudong: 78 mosque Muslimah from Kampung Bunut Mosque and Kampung Bengkurong Mosque participated in a Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony on the morning of January 17th. The event was organized in conjunction with the 78th birthday celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and took place at a hotel in Jerudong.

According to Radio Television Brunei, certificates were presented by Yang Berhormat Dayang Hajah Safiah Binti Sheikh Haji Abdul Salam, a Member of the Legislative Council. The ceremony began with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the reading of Sayyidul Istighfar, selawat Tafrijiyyah, and various surahs, concluding with doa khatam.
