Jalan telanai: The struggle, sacrifice, and contribution of an imam, prayer leader, and propagator, as well as a historical figure in the country, will continue to be remembered, especially by descendants, through the book "Kembara Hayat Imam Panjang, Sebuah Memoir Pehin Datu Pekerma Dewa Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Rahim". The launching of the new book took place at a cafe on Jalan Telanai on the afternoon of May 2nd.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the launch was officiated by Doctor Awang Haji Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong, Head of Brunei History Centre. The 105-page book depicts the life journey of Imam Panjang, focusing on the figure's determination in developing personality, life skills, and efforts to foster family and societal growth, as well as contributions to religion, race, and country. The book on the late Imam Panjang bin Akim, also known as Pehin Datu Pekerma Dewa Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Rahim, is intended to serve as an example and encouragement for future generations.
