Kampung Kilanas Mosque Organizes Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony with Orphan Donations

Kampung Kilanas: The Kampung Kilanas Mosque Takmir Committee organized a Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony in conjunction with Ramadhan on the afternoon of March 24th. The event took place at the Kampung Kilanas Mosque, focusing on religious recitations and community support.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony began with the recitation of Al Fatihah, led by Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, the Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. In a significant community gesture, the ceremony was coupled with a donation presentation to 10 orphans from Kampung Kilanas. These donations were sourced from the Special Donation Fund specifically set up for the village’s orphans.
