Donation Presentation and Breaking of the Fast Benefits 200 Orphans

Berakas: A heartwarming Donation Presentation Ceremony and Breaking of the Fast, organized by the Brunei Muara District Office, witnessed the distribution of donations to 200 orphans at Dewan Muhibbah, Berakas, on the afternoon of March 24th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event featured key figures such as Awang Abdul Walid bin Haji Matassan, Permanent Secretary for Municipal and District at the Ministry of Home Affairs, and Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Acting Brunei Muara District Officer. Representatives from various private companies and individual contributors across the country also participated in presenting the donations.

The ceremony began with the reading of tahlil, setting a solemn and respectful tone for the event. The combined efforts of governmental and private sectors highlight the community’s commitment to supporting orphans, particularly during the significant period of fasting.
