Sultan Leads Procession in Bandar Seri Begawan Reflecting Community Unity

Bandar seri begawan: His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam led a significant procession covering a 1.9-kilometre route around the city. The event witnessed participation from various teams, including Ministries, Higher Education Institutions, Colleges, Secondary Schools, Village Consultative Councils, Mosque Takmir, Public Associations, and the Private Sector. The procession underscored the unity prevalent among the community in the country.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Maulidur Rasul celebration is a key Islamic event celebrated annually throughout Brunei Darussalam. The festivities aim to maintain family harmony by encouraging Muslims to emulate the family life of Prophet Muhammad. The event was further enhanced by the recitation of selawat, which elevated the grandeur of the Grand Assembly and Procession.

His Majesty’s participation with the citizens served as a motivation for fostering love for Prophet Muhammad. Such events are anticipated to continue inspiring individuals to adopt the noble traits of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam in their daily lives.
