Final of National Oratory Competition Concludes with Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School Student Winning

Berakas: Awang Anang Muhammad Fathur’rahman bin Anang Abdul Rahman from Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School emerged as the champion in the Final of the Brunei Darussalam National Oratory Competition. Held in conjunction with the Language Month Celebration 2025, the competition took place at the Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas on the morning of September 17th.

According to Radio Television Brunei, five participants competed, delivering speeches on topics related to language, country, socialisation, economy, culture, and artificial intelligence. The event highlighted the diverse areas of interest and expertise of the participants.

Prizes were presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The second place was awarded to Dayang Syafiqah Mumtazah binti Haji Mohd Arriffen from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, while Dayang Muslimah binti Mahadi, participating privately, secured the third position.
