Reception in Celebration of Her Majesty’s 79th Birthday

Bandar seri begawan: Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti AlMarhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam attended a reception in celebration of her 79th birthday, hosted by the spouses of cabinet ministers, deputy ministers, permanent secretaries, deputy permanent secretaries, and affiliated members. The ceremony took place at the Royal Berkshire Hall, Tarindak D’Polo Jerudong.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was graced by the presence of several members of the royal family, including Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Anisha Rosnah, Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Bini Hajah Faizah, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bolkiah, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador at Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam.

Upon arrival, Her Majesty was welcomed by Datin Dayang Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Asbi, wife of the Minister of Religious Affairs and the group’s Second Chairperson. Greeting her as well were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence, and Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office.

In her welcoming remarks, the group’s Second Chairperson highlighted several activities conducted by the group. During the event, Her Majesty was presented with a Pesambah of a Special Issue Magazine from the Prime Minister’s Office titled ‘Junjung Kasih Permaisuri’, sponsored by DST Sendirian Berhad. A special video titled ‘Permaisuri Berkarisma Inspirasi Rakyat’ further enlivened the celebration.
