Berakas: Efforts to strengthen the identity and appreciation of Islam among new converts continue to be intensified through the Ikon Muallaf 2.0: Jalan Lima 'Syahadah' programme. It aims to guide participants in translating the demands of the syahadah into daily life with full confidence and sincerity. The programme organised by As-Syahadah Muallaf Youth in collaboration with the Youth Religious Programme Secretariat, Islamic Da'wah Centre was held at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Berakas, on the morning of May 10.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the main focus of the programme is to build self-resilience and provide social skills to the new converts, especially in interacting wisely with family members and friends who have not embraced Islam. The session provides participants with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the fundamentals of faith and understand the concept of Islam as a comprehensive way of life. A question and answer session was also held.
