Kampung sengkurong: Over 150 participants joined the Hijrah Walk 3.0 in conjunction with Hijrah New Year 1447 at Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque, Kampung Sengkurong, on the morning of July 13th. The event was organized collaboratively by the Mosque Takmir Committee and Syababul Iman Youth Group, aiming to integrate the concept of hijrah into daily life through physical activities and tarbiyyah.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event included notable participation from Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Salleh Bostaman bin Haji Zainal Abidin, a Member of the Legislative Council. The 3-kilometre walkathon around the mosque area was designed to invigorate the hijrah celebration within the community, particularly targeting the younger generation. The event emphasized a healthy and relaxed approach grounded in Islamic values.
