Post: Hijrah Recreational Programme Promotes Health and Reflection in Tutong

Tutong: The Tutong District Mosque Affairs Office, in collaboration with the Pengiran Muda Abdul Wakeel Kiudang Mosque Takmir Committee, organized a Dawn Talk and Hijrah Recreational Programme to mark the New Year 1447.

According to Radio Television Brunei, more than 200 individuals participated in the event, which featured a 3.5-kilometre walk and an 11-kilometre cycling event. The programme aimed to draw lessons from the migration of Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alahi Wasallam and to encourage the community to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

The initiative reflects a dual focus on spiritual reflection and physical well-being, emphasizing the importance of both in community life. Organizers hope that such events will inspire more people to engage in activities that benefit both body and soul, fostering a community that values health and spiritual growth.
