GCIMM Conference 2025 Showcases Innovations in Industrial and Manufacturing Sectors
Bandar seri begawan: The second day of the 1st Global Conference on Industrial, Materials, and Manufacturing, GCIMM 2025, along with the ASEAN Sustainable Ready for Industry, SRI 5.0 Programme, took place concurrently at UTB. The events brought together experts and researchers from various countries to discuss advancements in their respective fields.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the GCIMM Conference 2025 featured a series of technical paper presentations and a keynote session delivered by researchers from Brunei Darussalam, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan. Some of the key topics explored during the conference included the corrosion resistance of stainless steel and enhancements in heat transfer for battery cooling systems.
Meanwhile, the ASEAN SRI 5.0 Programme concentrated on green auditing and sustainability. It aimed to equip participants from academia and industry with practical skills necessary for evaluating energy, carbon, and environmental performance, thus fostering an environment of sustainable development and innovation across the region.
