Rahaman attended a friendly football match between DPMM FC and Sumsel United from Indonesia. The match took place at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium on the evening of August 2nd. His Royal Highness was accompanied by his brother and children, including Prince ‘Abdul Malik, Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim, Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah, Pengiran Muda Muhammad Aiman, and Pengiran Anak Faathimah Az-Zahraa’ Raihaanul Bolkiah.

According to Radio Television Brunei, upon arrival, the royal family was greeted by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. DPMM FC emerged victorious with a five-nil win over Sumsel United. This friendly match served as a preparatory event for Brunei DPMM FC ahead of their participation in the Malaysia Super League Match. The league match is scheduled to begin on August 9th, where DPMM FC will face PDRM FC at the Majlis Perbandaran Selayang Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.
