Foreign Envoys and Brunei Representatives Gather for Audience Ceremony
Bandar seri begawan: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, hosted an audience ceremony this morning to receive newly appointed Brunei Darussalam Envoys and Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony took place at Qashr Al-Meezaan.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was marked by the presentation of Letters of Credence on 18th October 2025. His Majesty presented these letters to the newly appointed Brunei Darussalam Envoys and received similar credentials from the Foreign Envoys. The ceremony was attended by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The newly appointed Brunei Darussalam Envoys include His Excellency Adnan bin Haji Mohd Ja’afar to the United States of America, His Excellency Wan Hadfi Lutfan bin Haji Abdul Latif to Japan, His Excellency Haji Sulaini bin Haji Said to Kuwait, and His Excellency Retired Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matseruddin to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Additionally, Her Excellency Ang Lay Ling was appointed as High Commissioner to Canada, and Her Excellency Siti Arnyfariza binti Haji Mohd Jaini to the Republic of India.
The Foreign Envoys to Brunei Darussalam include His Excellency U Sein Oo from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, His Excellency Heuankeo Sangsomsak from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, His Excellency Ramu Abbagani from the Republic of India, His Excellency Tamer Mansy from Canada, and His Excellency Weert B¶rner from the Federal Republic of Germany.
