Bandar seri begawan: The Flag hoisting and presentation ceremony to Mukim Penghulus was held in three districts on the morning of 1st July. The ceremonies were marked by the presence of various dignitaries and members of the Legislative Council.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event at the Brunei Muara District Office Building was officiated by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, Deputy Minister for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Minister’s Office. Members of the Legislative Council attended the ceremony, underscoring its importance.
In Kuala Belait, the ceremony took place at Taman Persiaran Menara Cendera Kenangan. Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Deputy Minister for Security and Law at the Prime Minister’s Office, presented the national flag. A Member of the Legislative Council was also in attendance, highlighting the event’s significance.
The Tutong District saw the flag handed over by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister for Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office. Members of the Legislative Council were present, emphasizing the ceremonial occasion.
Meanwhile, in the Temburong District, the ceremony was held at the Mukim Bangar Civic Centre Complex Car Park. The flag was handed over by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy at the Ministry of Finance and Economy. A Member of the Legislative Council was also present to witness the event.
