Bandar seri begawan: Dato Othman Primary School Kampung Lambak Kiri celebrated His Majesty’s 79th Birthday with a National Flag Hoisting Ceremony. The event was a significant part of the nationwide celebrations honoring His Majesty.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony at Dato Othman Primary School was officiated by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Daud bin Jihan, a Member of the Legislative Council. The event highlighted the importance of national pride and unity among the participants.
In a separate event, the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association held their own flag raising ceremony on the morning of July 1st. This ceremony was officiated by members of the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University’s Rover Scouts. Awang Haji Junaidi bin Haji Hussin, the Chief Scouts Commissioner, was present at the event, further underscoring the significance of the celebration across different community groups.
