Flag Lowering Ceremony Marks Conclusion of Brunei’s Royal Birthday Celebrations

Bandar seri begawan: The Lowering of the Brunei Darussalam Giant-Sized Flag in conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration was held on the afternoon of 13th October. This significant event took place at the open area of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda Bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development, who serves as Co-Chairman of the Royal Birthday Celebration National Committee. Members of the Legislative Council also graced the occasion. The ceremony symbolically marked the conclusion of the nationwide flag hoisting activities that celebrated His Majesty’s 79th birthday.
