Berakas: The duties of a fire and rescue personnel extend beyond extinguishing fires and saving lives; they also include engaging in charitable activities. As part of the Fire and Rescue Department's 66th Anniversary Celebration, a blood donation campaign was organized, successfully collecting 59 pints of blood at the department's headquarters in Berakas.
According to Radio Television Brunei, similar campaigns are planned across other districts. The Belait District will host a campaign on May 23rd at the Municipal Hall in Kuala Belait and Seria. The Temburong District will follow on June 9th at the Youth Centre, Temburong, and the Tutong District will hold its event on June 29th at the National Isolation Centre. The public is encouraged to participate in these campaigns to contribute to the nation's blood reserves.
