Festive Stages Highlight His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration with Cultural Flair

Bandar seri begawan: The festive stages in conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration continued to captivate audiences with a series of performances on the night of July 27th. In the capital, the car park area opposite the Royal Regalia Museum came alive with a Malay Traditional Cultural Night. The event was graced by the presence of Awang Amirul Shukri bin Haji Hafneh, Acting Chairman of the Municipal Board, Bandar Seri Begawan, and was organized by Irama Bahtera Entertainment.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Tudung Saji in Kuala Belait hosted an ethnic traditional costumes competition, bringing a vibrant touch to the celebrations. This event was conducted by the Community Development Department, Belait District branch, showcasing the region’s rich cultural heritage.

In the Tutong District, the festive stage was energized by the Malam Wira Bangsa Empat Perpuluhan Kosong performance at the open area in front of Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital. Organized by the Wira Bangsa Group, the event was attended by Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad bin Abdullah ALIAS Lim Swee Ann and Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Members of the Legislative Council.

Meanwhile, in Temburong District, the Bintang Keputeraan 2025 Contest took center stage. Organized by Radio Television Brunei, Temburong District Branch, the event was graced by Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer, and Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council, adding to the grandeur of the celebrations.
