Bandar seri begawan: The Festive Stage came alive on the night of August 24th, featuring a series of performances in celebration of His Majesty’s 79th Birthday. The event showcased the cultural richness and community spirit associated with such celebrations.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the festivities in Bandar Seri Begawan included Tausyeh and Nasyid performances by the Firqah Al-Khalil group. This performance was part of the celebrations for the Birthday of Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam, adding a spiritual dimension to the event.
Meanwhile, in the Temburong District, the festive stage was highlighted by the Qasidah Beliawanis Masjid Competition. This competition saw participation from four groups of beliawanis representing mosques in the district. The competing groups hailed from Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar Mosque in Kampong Bokok, Kampong Puni Mosque, Kampong Batu Apoi Mosque, and Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque in Bangar town, showcasing their dedication and community involvement.
