Bandar seri begawan: The festive stage in conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration continued last night with a series of vibrant performances.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ‘Malam Irama Gulingtangan Fusion and Kontemporari’ performance brought life to the Festive Stage at the Car Park in front of the Royal Regalia Museum in Bandar Seri Begawan. The event was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Haji Mohamed, Member of the Legislative Council. Organised by Kulimpapa Orchestra, the performance showcased a blend of Bruneian and international songs, merging traditional and modern musical melodies.
In Kuala Belait, the festivities at Tudung Saji featured the ‘Otai masih berbisa’ band, which delivered a dynamic set comprising 20 songs from Black Gypsy and Bantana band. This lively performance was managed by Zairock Musical Production, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
The festive stage in front of the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in Tutong District was invigorated by the Roses Twenty-Nine Rock Revolution band, an event organised by NY Twenty-Nine and Services. This performance saw the attendance of Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, Member of the Legislative Council.
In Temburong District, the Language and Literature Bureau, through its Library Division in collaboration with Gambus D’Muliawan, orchestrated the Cultural Night Performance at the Festive Stage. The event was attended by Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, Acting Director of the Language and Literature Bureau, and Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer, further enhancing the cultural tapestry of the celebration.
