Tungku: The participants of the FAO Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific visited the Tungku Agricultural Development Area on the morning of April 22. The visit aimed to observe the development of the country's modern agricultural sector and to see first-hand the implementation of technology in local agricultural production.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the delegation included the Minister of Livestock from the Ministry of Livestock of Papua New Guinea, the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries of Samoa, the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forest of Tonga, and the Minister for Natural Resources Development of Tuvalu. During their visit, the delegates had the opportunity to observe sustainable and high-technology agricultural practices. These practices are essential in supporting efforts to enhance national food security, reduce dependence on imports, and strengthen economic diversification.
