Senior Citizens are valuable assets that are rich in experience and source of knowledge that be benefitted by the younger generation as a way of life. This group should always be appreciated as they have poured a lot of energy, ideas, time and others into strengthening the development of the country. Permanent Secretary for Community at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports stated this at the 2nd Family Day Celebration organised by the Brunei Muara Senior Citizens Activity Centre.
Dayang Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Johari in her speech called on family members to always support the senior citizens and create togetherness, so that their lives will be more meaningful. The celebration is being held until 6th of December at Lambak Kanan Community Hall Dua. Several family activities will be held throughout the event.
