Executive Development Programme Concludes with Focus on Leadership and Management

Bolkiah garrison: The 20th Series of the Executive Development Programme (EDP) for Senior Government Officers in Public Policy and Management, organised by the Ministry of Defence, marked a significant step towards enhancing leadership and management within the public service. This initiative is aligned with the goals of Wawasan Brunei 2035. Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence, highlighted the enhanced modules and commended the collaboration between the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy and the Ministry of Defence during the Closing Ceremony held at the Officers’ Mess, Bolkiah Garrison.

According to Radio Television Brunei, 28 participants were awarded certificates of completion for the course. The EDP programme serves as a crucial platform for defence diplomacy, fostering bilateral relations, and encouraging collaborative learning among participating nations, which include Malaysia, the Sultanate of Oman, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Singapore, the Kingdom of Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
