Bandar seri begawan: Eight students, accompanied by a focal officer and a mentor, departed for the Republic of Singapore from Brunei International Airport on the afternoon of 3rd July to attend the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF). The event is organized by the Singapore Ministry of Education and is scheduled to take place on 5th July.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Julaihi bin Mohamad, the Director of Co-Curricular Education, was present at the airport to bid farewell to the group. The SYF is an annual arts festival designed to showcase the artistic talents of regional youth. At this year’s event, Brunei Darussalam will be performing a Medley of Brunei Traditional Dances, highlighting their cultural heritage.
