A shining example of this trend is the recently opened ‘Pourtia Cafe’ showcased by a 21-year-old entrepreneur.

According to Radio Television Brunei, established in 2024, ‘Pourtia Cafe’ is located at Chuchu Plaza. The inspiration to start a cafe came after Awang Abdul Hakeem bin Ismail completed his school, driven by his personal interest in coffee-making and the desire to run a business encouraged by the parents.

Apart from coffee, this cafe provides various video games for the visitors. This makes ‘Pourtia Cafe’ not just a place to enjoy coffee, but also a place to relax.
