Borneo Run Half Marathon Prepares for Sixth Edition

Berakas: The sixth edition of the ‘Borneo Run Half Marathon’ is set to take place on 17th August at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas. Registration for the much-anticipated event opened on the afternoon of 12th May at Tarindak D’Polo, Jerudong and will close on 30th June.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was launched during a ceremony that also included the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the organisers and sponsors. The ceremony was officiated by Awang Haji Mohamad Rosfazilah bin Haji Yusly, the Deputy Director of Youth and Sports. Participants will compete in two main categories: a 21-kilometer marathon and a 10-kilometer run. Additionally, there will be a 3-kilometer Fun Run for those interested in a less competitive experience.
