Bandar seri begawan: In conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 79th Birthday Celebration, the Prime Minister’s Office and its departments organized a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony, Mass Sunat Hajat Prayer, and Mass Fardhu Asar prayer. The event was held at Ash-Shaliheen Mosque on the afternoon of July 17th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The Wawasan Brunei Office, in collaboration with the Civil Service Institute, conducted the ceremony, which included the reading of Surah Yasin and Doa Kesyukuran.
