Walkathon Promotes Youth Engagement in Healthy Activities in Belait District

Kampung bukit sawat: A walkathon was held in Kampung Bukit Sawat in Belait District to promote healthy activities among the youth. The event took place on the morning of 12th July and aimed to encourage physical engagement and community participation.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Haji Md Salleh bin Haji Othman and Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad bin Abdullah, Members of the Legislative Council. The walkathon spanned a distance of 14 kilometers and concluded at the Sungai Mau Multipurpose Hall.

The walkathon was organized by the Youth and Sports Department, Belait District Branch, in collaboration with the Kampung Bukit Sawat Consultative Council. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle and foster a sense of community among the youth in the district.
