Bangar town: To commemorate the Maulidur Rasul and further glorify Islamic eminence through the recitation of selawat, the Temburong District New Converts Association and the Temburong District Da’wah Branch held the Dikir Syarafil Anam Closing Ceremony. The event took place at the Multipurpose Hall of the Bumiputera Complex in Bangar Town on the morning of 18th September.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was graced by the presence of Awang Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd. Salleh, Director of the Islamic Da’wah Centre. A tazkirah, or talk, titled “Kelebihan bersholawat dan dikir syarafil anam” was part of the event’s agenda. The ceremony aimed to foster love for Prophet Muhammad Sallallahualaihi wasallam and strengthen Islamic brotherhood and friendship among the local community, especially the new converts of Temburong District.
