Bandar seri begawan: Six decades since its Foundation Laying Ceremony in 1966, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Arabic School continues to achieve proud achievements in producing knowledgeable, moral, and visionary human capital, thus playing an important role in strengthening Arabic and Islamic education in Brunei Darussalam. As a sign of gratitude for the development and progress that has been achieved over the six decades of its establishment, a Diamond Jubilee Celebration was held on 29th June morning, in conjunction with the Foundation Laying Ceremony of the School.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event featured the presence of Awang Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policies and Religious Affairs at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Highlights of the celebration included a special video screening titled "Exploring the School's History," an educational exhibition, the inauguration of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Gallery Room, and a visit to the School's Alumni Entrepreneurship Exhibition.
The Diamond Jubilee Celebration underscored the school's commitment to maintaining its pivotal role in Arabic and Islamic education in the region. The event not only celebrated past achievements but also set a vision for future contributions to education in Brunei Darussalam.
